After much debate, I decided to hire a designer for Tamporlea's cover as well as the rest of the trilogy. Here is the new art!
I have had a couple of questions come to my email (email@example.com) which is actually posted at the back of my books. This was a little strange to me because I didn't think anyone would actually write to me. Anyway, I thought it would be interesting to answer them.
Q. Why did you write Alone before finishing the Tamporlea Trilogy?
A. Alone was actually finished long before Tamporlea entered my mind. I was actually waiting for my last rejection letter before I decided to self-publish the book.
Q. Are you really donating a portion of your profits?
A. Absolutely. I don't think I will ever get rich off of writing, but I have always wanted to give back in any way possible. So yes, every book I write will have a dedicated 10% going to an organization that has touched my heart in some way.
Q. Will you write a sequel to Alone?
A. No, however, I am contemplating publishing Willow's journal/letters to Serenity. Still not sure about that because I don't want it to be a whiney, poor me book.
Q. What projects do you have coming up?
A. The Tamporlea Trilogy will be completed by September 2011. I am also working on another series that is also in the YA genre. Also, I am working on an adult fiction book that I am pretty excited and nervous about. Right now I am writing three books at once because I have so many ideas going through my head and I don't want to waste it.
So, thanks for asking me questions! That was kind of fun. If you come up with anything else, feel free to ask. Just a forewarning, I won't answer any questions that will give up the plot to any of my books because well, that would just be silly!
Alone has recently been released on Amazon Kindle, Barnes & Noble Nook and paperback. Here are the links!
Tiffany has dedicated 10% of profits for Alone to be donated to various youth mental health organizations.
Please remember to rate and review her books!
Just a quick note to give you all a heads up. I will be releasing a new book called Alone within the next week or two. It's not part of theTamporlea Trilogy, it's a stand alone book that I had written a few years ago and never published. It needs a bit of polishing before I send it out to the world, but it won't take long.
Here is a very rough copy of the cover. I'll keep you posted!
Tiffany Lovering is a life-long upstate New York resident and spends most of her time devoted to her daughter, Allison’s activities. In between going to soccer practice, recitals, and spending way too much time on Facebook, she writes young adult fantasies and paranormal romance.
Tiffany has published many poems for small publications but Tamporlea is her first published novel. Tamporlea is the first book in the Tamporlea Trilogy which is to be followed by Unjust and Reunification. She was first inspired to write Tamporlea in January 2011 while going through photographs she had taken of landscapes around New England. One photo of a small mountain triggered her imagination and Tamporlea was born.
Although Tamporlea is the shortest book of the trilogy, it holds much of the history of Tamporlea as well as an introduction into the Gypsy lifestyle.
Tiffany has been writing short stories since the third grade and started writing full-length novels by the time she was sixteen. Keeping those works to herself, she never thought of the possibility of self-publishing. It was her daughter who inspired her to put Tamporlea out for the world to see.
Now, at 29, Tiffany plans to publish the rest of her Tamporlea Trilogy as well as some of her favorite works from the past and new adventures that come along everyday.
